An easy way to do this is to copy and paste the questions below onto your post and then put your answers in a different color!1) What has to be the same in order for two parallelograms to be similar?2) Describe a way to find a missing side length in a pair of similar figures.3) I have a small isosceles triangle with a base of 3 inches and other sides are 4 inches.I want to create a similar isosceles triangle with a base of 7.5 inches.What should the other side lengths be and why?




1. The angles in degrees have to be the same and have to have parallel sides.
2. To find a missing side length you could find the scale factor then multiple the original number. Also, you could use ratios to find a missing number.
3. The other side should be 10 in wide because the scale factor is 2.5.
